Informing our members on the latest issues and business opportunities in Malaysia and the region
Hello and Welcome!
The Malaysia Australia Business Council (MABC) was established on 1986 as a private non-profit organization that provides a range of services to its members relating to businesses in Malaysia and Australia.
As most of you may be aware, shortly after the World Health Organisation declared the COVID-19 outbreak as a pandemic, Malaysia's number of confirmed COVID-19 has been rising with the first 2 deaths announced yesterday.
To contain the situation, the Malaysian Government has implemented Restricted Movement Order which, among others, require closure of all private offices, except those involved in essential services, during the period 18th to 31st March 2020.
Therefore, we have considered it necessary to close the MABC office for the said duration of 18th – 31st March 2020. All our employees will be working remotely from home and remain reachable via email, WhatsApp and/or mobile phone.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure of our office. As this is a rapidly evolving situation, MABC will be monitoring the situation closely. Any updates on our operations and any additional information will be communicated via our email broadcast.
Should you need any further clarification, do not hesitate to email Ms. Linda Tey at email@example.com
Let’s stay safe and united as we fight through these trying times together
