Informing our members on the latest issues and business opportunities in Malaysia and the region
Hello and Welcome!
The Malaysia Australia Business Council (MABC) was established on 1986 as a private non-profit organization that provides a range of services to its members relating to businesses in Malaysia and Australia.
The MABC Raised RM66,100 for the Australian Bushfire
Goal achieved! With the end of the MABC Donation Drive for the Australian Bushfire, the MABC would like to thank the many contributors who have donated to the cause. The generosity of our donors has led to us raising a total of RM66,100!
The sum was gathered through three streams: The MABC Donation Drive, Bushfire Charity Auction and from the ticket sale at the Donation Drive event at Southern Rock. The Donation Drive’s notable donors include Lynas Corporation Ltd and KSM Group, donating RM28,000 and RM5,000 respectively. The Charity auction was held during the well attended networking evening on the 16th of January and attended by MABC members and guests from various sectors and industries. Eager bidders scrambled for the items on auction ranging from signed sporting paraphernalia to stays at a luxurious Bali villa. RM 50 was also taken from each ticket sold to the 90 members and guests.
Once again, the MABC would like to express our gratitude and extend a sincere ‘Thank You!’ to all who contributed in providing aid to the Australian Bushfire. The funds raised will be channelled to the Australian Red Cross to provide aid to those affected by the fires.
